Dehydration: Which Type Might Affect You?

Most of us know how it feels to become temporarily thirsty, and then slaking that thirst with a long, cool drink that restores our bodies to a healthily hydrated state again.  This common type of dehydration is known as temporary dehydration.

No one can function properly when they’re dehydrated.
Thirst Doesn’t Come First

It’s worth noting that although we’re sometimes guilty of waiting until we feel thirsty to drink, thirst isn’t one of the early warning signs of dehydration.  By the time we feel thirsty, our bodies are already experiencing other signs of dehydration, such as needing to urinate less and having a dry or sticky mouth.

Chronic Dehydration

Chronic dehydration is more serious.  Known to occur as a result of new onset or long-term illness, the signs are ones that are common to many minor and major health issues, but collectively can be a sign of serious dehydration:

  • Headaches
  • Painful, aching joints
  • Respiratory problems
  • High blood pressure
  • Constipation
  • Weight gain
  • Poor skin condition
Sports Hydration

Sports hydration needs special attention as well.  To turn in top performances, sports enthusiasts and professionals need to drink plenty of water before, during and following exertion.

But here’s the vital thing: ionized alkaline water from your Tyent ionizer hydrates you more efficiently than regular water.   Is that possible? That one type of water is more hydrating than another?  Yes!

Incredible Hydrogen

Antioxidant-rich Tyent Water is packed with naturally occurring hydrogen molecules that are capable of crossing the blood/brain barrier.  They get to work right down at a cellular level, hydrating you faster, more thoroughly and for longer than other types of water.

Amazing stuff, right?
