Setbacks and Solutions
Brought up to appreciate food and it’s role in family life, Jessica isn’t a stranger to setbacks. By the age of 24, she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Disease, Primary Amenorrhea, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Partial Seizures, and Esophageal Ulcers. Unconvinced by taking a wholly medical approach to managing her symptoms, Jessica embarked on restoring and shoring up her health with food.
She felt instinctively that her physical and mental wellness was intrinsically linked with the right nutrition. After all, how can bodies heal if we don’t feed them properly?
Following countless appearances and educational talks, in November 2016, Jessica’s Eat Your Way to Wellness slot featured on 6ABC’s FYI Philly. Early this year, Jessica’s guest spot on Healthy Lifestyles with Eraldo was so successful, that she returned later as a co-host!
Things are getting even more exciting! From Autumn 2017, Jessica is back on our screens, presenting a Weekly Wellness Tip on 6ABC Philadelphia.
