What Alkaline Water and Antioxidants Do to Your Body

What Are Antioxidants?

If you’re anything like me, then, of course, you’ve heard of antioxidants. I sort of knew about them, but when pressed to give a definition, I realized that I really didn’t know about them.

So, I did some research, and now, I want to share my findings with you.

To begin with, here’s a basic definition.

Antioxidants Definition: Molecules that don’t allow another molecule to oxidize.

Simple enough, so what does that mean to you and me?

What it means is that you want antioxidants in your system because they inhibit the growth of oxygen molecules. Those are the molecules (also known as free radicals) that wreak havoc on whatever they come into contact with, like the cell walls in your body.

Oxidation is what causes our food to rot.

Have you ever seen an old rusted-out car or truck sitting somewhere? That’s oxidation.

The physical damage done by these free radicals is the basis for many of the health problems we face today.

Why You Need Alkaline Water

An acidic environment is what you want to avoid. An alkaline environment is what you want to create.

One of the best ways to do that and protect your health from this constant free radical assault is to make sure you are stocked up on foods that are high in antioxidants and drink a kind of water that is pure and overflowing with them. The best water you can drink to accomplish that is Tyent ionized alkaline water.

“The beauty of Tyent Water is that it penetrates into the cells and hydrates the cells at the cellular level.”

Who Is Dr. Alvin Stein?

Alvin Stein is an amazing man. He is a renowned doctor, legendary surgeon, a pioneer, and has practiced medicine for over fifty years.

In 2008, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, he is active in detoxification, nutrition, and all other areas of complementary and alternative medicine that treat pain without surgery and harmful medications.

Read what he has to say on the importance of introducing antioxidants into the body and how Tyent water plays an important role in raising alkaline levels in the body while at the same time lowering acid.

Doctor Stein: “The body works very hard to keep the blood at a slightly alkaline level of 7.365…that’s the ideal level. But the tissues are absorbing all of these oxidizing processes and becoming acidic.

We want to bring the body out of acidity and into alkalinity. When we do this, we have a healthy body where cancer can’t grow, deterioration of the body doesn’t occur and the body can detoxify more easily when it is alkaline.”

“The hydration level of the cells is so necessary for all of the metabolic processes. The beauty of Tyent Water is that it penetrates into the cells and hydrates the cells at the cellular level.”

Science has proven that dangerous, acidic oxidants can’t live in an alkaline environment. In fact, antioxidants stop the free radicals from even forming while attacking the ones already running around.

It’s the end of the road for them.

With the combination of antioxidants and alkaline water, you’ll definitely achieve a healthier body. Antioxidants fight off free radicals, while alkaline water helps in increasing alkalinity and decreasing acidity in the body.

To maximize the benefits of these two, start eating antioxidant-rich foods and drinking alkaline water now.

Well, now that you know a little more about how antioxidants work to keep the body healthy, you may want to look into taking some steps toward a healthier you, and a Tyent Ionized Alkaline Water System is a great first step.

  1. Hello, I drink your alkaline water. I am wondering: should I keep drinking alkaline water during meals? Should I change the kind of water I drink?

    1. Hi, Savannah. Thank you for trusting Tyent to help keep you healthy! Generally, we advise people to drink regular pH water (level 7 pH) with meals, then wait 30 minutes before and after meals to drink alkaline water again.

    1. Hi, Isabella. We measure the presence of hydrogen and antioxidants in ionized water using the negative oxygen reduction potential (-ORP). The lower the level, the richer the water is with antioxidants. At Tyent, our water has the optimal -ORP levels, indicating the presence of molecular hydrogen.

    1. Hi, Brigitte. Thanks for your question. Some of the essential minerals in Tyent’s hydrogen-rich alkaline water are magnesium, calcium, zinc, and potassium.

    1. Hi, Trenton. That’s amazing! Thanks for choosing Tyent for your water and health needs. Depending on the machine you have, your goal is to be able to drink alkaline level 3 or level 4 water at the end of the adjustment period. Drink the rest of your daily intake at level 1 for about two weeks and so on and so forth until your body fully adjusts to switching to healthier water. We also recommend that you consult the water ionizer guide included with your purchase for more information.

    1. Hi, Emilio. All of our water ionizers contain electrolysis chambers, which is where the purification and ionization occur. Our process of electrolysis makes our water rich with higher antioxidant levels than those of regular water. The process is made better by our premium Solid/Mesh Hybrid plates. All of Tyent’s water ionizer plates offer the durability of a solid plate, and go a step further by having electrolysis distribution holes strategically placed throughout to provide the most groundbreaking electrolysis chamber in the world!

We’d love to talk to you more about this over the phone, so please give our water experts a call at 855-893-6887.

    1. Hi, Zane. No, you won’t, since your body is able to balance and absorb the effects of drinking alkaline water. Your overall pH level increases the more alkaline water you drink, as this healthy state is something that alkaline water encourages. If the alkaline is from an outside source, your body will experience a net gain of alkalinity. You can read more about these bodily processes here.

If you want to know more about this and our water ionizers, call our water experts at 855-893-6887.

    1. Hi, Ivan. Thanks for the question. Many of our customers have said that Tyent’s antioxidant- and mineral-rich water tastes better than other options. We recommend that you try it for yourself!
