Is Ionized Alkaline Water Corrosive?
Whether an aqueous solution is corrosive or alkaline is determined by the pH level or potential for hydrogen. When a liquid has a pH level of 7.0 on the pH scale it is neutral. When the pH levels drops below 7.0 it is deemed acidic and when that number rises above 7.0 it is alkaline.

While most of this week’s blogs have been more about the company behind the product (Tyent), with its sterling reputation for providing a high quality product as well as unmatched Customer Service, questions have been coming in and today I’d like to answer some of them.
I would like to state beforehand that Tyent offers a liberal, Lifetime Warranty on their ionized alkaline water machines. That should afford some peace of mind to any prospective customer considering the purchase of a water ionizer from another company.
Alright then, first question of the day.I have to admit that I get a kick out of some of these questions.
What is Reverse Osmosis Water and is it better than Tyent Ionized Alkaline Water? That is an interesting question. We first need to describe what osmosis is before reversing it.
Osmosis is a process that occurs naturally in the world. When plant roots extract water from the ground or your kidneys extract water from the blood that is the natural process of osmosis.
Reverse osmosis or RO, is not a type of water. Reverse osmosis is the purification process by which regular water is transformed into water that has been purified by reverse osmosis. The concept and process itself is rather simple.

A reader wants to know, ” Is Alkaline Water from a Water Ionizer Really Better?” Now that is a great question! Reaching deep into the Tyent Mail Bag, I plucked that little gem of a question out and am happy to answer it.
Is water from a water ionizer really better? Well, the answer would depend on what you were comparing it with. Better than a new Porsche? Maybe not.
Okay, obviously, I am playfully comparing apples and oranges here.
However, when you seriously compare water from a water ionizer with other water, ionized alkaline water is not only better…it is far superior.
