One of the questions we are asked most often by new customers is, “How do I begin drinking ionized alkaline water?” The single most important thing you can do when starting off with alkaline water is to START SLOW!

Some companies out there want to wow potential customers and start them off on the highest pH levels. This is not a good idea! If you start drinking ionized alkaline water at the highest pH levels, especially if you are very acidic, you can experience a variety of unpleasant detoxifying side effects, including headaches, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue and a general feeling of sickness. With that in mind, here is what we recommend as the best way to start enjoying the benefits of ionized alkaline water.

Level 1

Level 1 is where you should begin. This level has a pH anywhere from 7.0 to 8.0, depending on your source water and machine settings. You should start by drinking one to three glasses per day. Stay at Level 1 for three weeks.

 

Level 2

If you notice that any detoxifying side effects have subsided and you feel great, you can move up to Level 2. Follow the same process you did when you first started drinking alkaline water. Drink one to three glasses of Level 2 alkaline water per day and give your body three weeks to get used to the higher pH levels of the water.

After three weeks at Level 2, you should move up to the highest level, Level 3. Level 3 has the best -ORP (antioxidant) levels and the highest pH levels suitable for drinking. At this point, you will probably start to notice the positive effects of drinking Tyent Water, including increased energy, more restful sleep, healthier skin and an improved feeling of overall wellbeing.
