A Sweet Dessert From Tyent USA

                              Tyent USA’s Tasty Thursday Recipe

Bread-pudding    I look forward to Thursdays around here because my Boss allows me to post a really tasty recipe that I feel most people will enjoy.

When we kids were clamoring for our supper my Mom used to respond, “Good food takes time to prepare…yours will be ready in a minute.”  So I guess I got my love of cooking from my mother.

I do love cooking and I love eating and am totally amazed that I have been able to maintain my figure without ever having to work out as evidenced in this recent photo.

Today’s recipe is a most delicious Bread Pudding.  This is comfort food for the palette and

Tyent USA’s News & Weather In The World

Hodge Podge Blog

Today’s blog is a mixture of weather related news in the world.

We’ll begin with the latest news and weather story coming out of Bardarbunga, Iceland.

Volcano Explosian    About ten days ago the seismic tremors of an earthquake began to roll across the Bardarbunga volcano in Iceland.  Since that time, the strength and frequency of those tremors has increased prompting scientists at the Icelandic Meteorological Office to issue warnings on Saturday of an imminent eruption.

On Tuesday morning (August 26th), an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale raised fears that the volcano could blow at any moment.  With the volcano sitting deep beneath the Vatnajokull Glacier, an eruption could be even more devastating than if

Summer Is Still Here So Stay Cool

Keep Cool With Tyent Ionized Alkaline Water

Cucumber     It is August.  August is typically the hottest month of year for many of us here in America with most states averaging around 80 degrees.

Averages don’t always translate to actual though.  As an example, where I am, eighty degrees is normal for this time of year yet it’s been in the nineties all month long and the heat index has been hovering at 100 degrees and above for the past week.

Translation, it is still summer and your body is still susceptible to overheating.  While August may portend cooling temperatures, they aren’t here yet and overheating is still a concern for many in  some of the hotter climates around

TYENT USA AND THE CYCLE OF WATER

The Never Ending Cycle of Water

Water Cycle 2

The Question

Were you aware there is about the same amount of water on the Earth today as there was millions of years ago?  It’s hard to believe really, when you take in to account that approximately 97% of all the fresh water on the planet is locked down in snow caps, glaciers, and in the frozen tundra and we can’t access it.

That leaves only about 3% of the world’s fresh water available to us and of that 3%, about 97% is salt water and undrinkable.

Therefore, in actuality, we have about 1% of the world’s fresh water available at any given time.  Not much, but so far, enough.

FUN FRIDAY @ TYENT USA!

                                       Hey everybody, it’s Fun Friday!

Friday 8-22    There is no better day to end the week and begin the weekend than Friday.

After five straight days of turning curious consumers into happy Tyent customers, we are way ready for the weekend to get here.  So let’s go.

Here are some truly strange things I have heard people say that made me blink.

Unintentionally Funny Things I’ve Heard People Say

RUBBER STAMP HUH

I was in a restaurant one night when a group of people sitting next to me began talking about religion.  I heard one of the people at the table ask a guy across from them, “What religion are you Keith?”   To which Keith replied…”No religion, I’m an atheist…thank God.”

Tyent USA Goes a Little Fruity Over Cool Summer Drinks

Stay Cool With Fruit Infused Tyent Water

Fruit drinks    That little cool front that passed through here last week had me thinking that maybe Fall was coming early this year.  However, since the heat-index has been hovering around 100 degrees this week, I may have been a little hasty in putting summertime to bed.

When it is hot we need to stay hydrated to keep from over heating and to keep our bodies functioning properly and water is the best way to do that.

There is no ordinary water you can drink that hydrates the body like Tyent Water.  Water created by Tyent’s ionized alkaline water purifiers is inexpensive, delicious, and virtually chemical free.

Now you can turn

Tyent USA Looks at Hydroelectricity

Water at Work in the World

Water inside world    Water plays a crucial role in the development of any nation, city, or even neighborhood.  Without water, nothing can even exist, let alone thrive.  Sustainer of life, creator of energy and Captain of the nautical highways, water makes the world go round.

Let’s do a little globe hopping and discover what water is up to in the Orient.

First though, a little electric lesson.

 Electricity

Blue Electricity     *Electricity is measured in terms of amperage, voltage and wattage.  Amperage, also referred to as amps, is a measure of the amount of electricity used.  Voltage, or volts, measures the force or pressure of electricity.  The amps multiplied by the volts, gives us the wattage, or

Tyent USA Looks at Water in America

Water in the News in America

Media    As I have written lately, you can’t open a newspaper, listen to the radio or turn on your television set without reading, hearing, or seeing something pertaining to water.

From the California drought to chemical spills in West Virginia and the algae blooms in Ohio, water is definitely in the news.

Today, it’s in New Jersey, where the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) announced last week (August 12th) that the capping of the two landfills in the townships of Cinnaminson and Duran, New Jersey, didn’t require any more action to be taken as the current measures have proven to be effective.  The sites drew national attention when the federal government

Fun Friday at Tyent USA

Hey everybody it’s Fun Friday!

Friday black board    Yes, ‘tis Friday once more.  Another week of work scratched off the calendar and we are so ready for the weekend here at Tyent USA.

It’s time for a little humor and some interesting/worthless facts.

  • Did you know that the word gullible is not in the dictionary?

  • A shrew must eat every 4 hours or he will starve to death

  • A shrews heart beats 1000 times per minute

  • It’s impossible to preheat an oven

  • All the insects in the world outweigh all the humans and animals combined

Where Did That Saying Come From?

Ever wonder where some of those terms and phrases we use every day came from?

 Well, I have,
