FUN FRIDAY @ TYENT USA!

                                       Hey everybody, it’s Fun Friday!

Friday 8-22    There is no better day to end the week and begin the weekend than Friday.

After five straight days of turning curious consumers into happy Tyent customers, we are way ready for the weekend to get here.  So let’s go.

Here are some truly strange things I have heard people say that made me blink.

Unintentionally Funny Things I’ve Heard People Say

RUBBER STAMP HUH

I was in a restaurant one night when a group of people sitting next to me began talking about religion.  I heard one of the people at the table ask a guy across from them, “What religion are you Keith?”   To which Keith replied…”No religion, I’m an atheist…thank God.”

Tyent USA Goes a Little Fruity Over Cool Summer Drinks

Stay Cool With Fruit Infused Tyent Water

Fruit drinks    That little cool front that passed through here last week had me thinking that maybe Fall was coming early this year.  However, since the heat-index has been hovering around 100 degrees this week, I may have been a little hasty in putting summertime to bed.

When it is hot we need to stay hydrated to keep from over heating and to keep our bodies functioning properly and water is the best way to do that.

There is no ordinary water you can drink that hydrates the body like Tyent Water.  Water created by Tyent’s ionized alkaline water purifiers is inexpensive, delicious, and virtually chemical free.

Now you can turn

Tyent USA Looks at Hydroelectricity

Water at Work in the World

Water inside world    Water plays a crucial role in the development of any nation, city, or even neighborhood.  Without water, nothing can even exist, let alone thrive.  Sustainer of life, creator of energy and Captain of the nautical highways, water makes the world go round.

Let’s do a little globe hopping and discover what water is up to in the Orient.

First though, a little electric lesson.

 Electricity

Blue Electricity     *Electricity is measured in terms of amperage, voltage and wattage.  Amperage, also referred to as amps, is a measure of the amount of electricity used.  Voltage, or volts, measures the force or pressure of electricity.  The amps multiplied by the volts, gives us the wattage, or

Tyent USA Looks at Water in America

Water in the News in America

Media    As I have written lately, you can’t open a newspaper, listen to the radio or turn on your television set without reading, hearing, or seeing something pertaining to water.

From the California drought to chemical spills in West Virginia and the algae blooms in Ohio, water is definitely in the news.

Today, it’s in New Jersey, where the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) announced last week (August 12th) that the capping of the two landfills in the townships of Cinnaminson and Duran, New Jersey, didn’t require any more action to be taken as the current measures have proven to be effective.  The sites drew national attention when the federal government

Fun Friday at Tyent USA

Hey everybody it’s Fun Friday!

Friday black board    Yes, ‘tis Friday once more.  Another week of work scratched off the calendar and we are so ready for the weekend here at Tyent USA.

It’s time for a little humor and some interesting/worthless facts.

  • Did you know that the word gullible is not in the dictionary?

  • A shrew must eat every 4 hours or he will starve to death

  • A shrews heart beats 1000 times per minute

  • It’s impossible to preheat an oven

  • All the insects in the world outweigh all the humans and animals combined

Where Did That Saying Come From?

Ever wonder where some of those terms and phrases we use every day came from?

 Well, I have,

Tyent USA’s Thursday Recipe

Hammin’ it up at Tyent USA   Turkey with ham sign    I enjoy cooking and I enjoy food.  I especially enjoy foods that you can nosh on for a day or two after the initial meal is over.   Ham is one of those foods.  We don’t fix ham all that often but when we do, it’s a real treat.  You can have a great meal and then for the next few days its maybe ham and eggs for breakfast, a ham sandwich for lunch and so on.   While I really like the taste of ham, what I don’t like about it is the fact that often times ham can be a bit tough.  I don’t like tough ham so I use a recipe that guarantees

Tyent USA-Following The Watery Path

From the Source to the Tap – The Producing of Municipal Water

Water Treatment Plant    Most of us are familiar with the terms, tap water, municipal water, city water and others in reference to the water that flows from the faucets in our homes.  The collecting of that water, the process of cleaning it up, and the labyrinth of pipes necessary to bring water to our houses, while simple in its theory, is collectively somewhat involved.

Admittedly, we probably don’t put much thought into how it all works.  Where that water from the tap actually comes from, where it went, and how it was treated to make it safe to drink…if it is safe to drink.

I wanted to know more

Tyent USA and a Body of Water

Water at Work in the Body

Water man-with-huge-wrench    Water, the essential ingredient for life on planet Earth.  At its core, water is a molecule comprised of two atoms, one oxygen and two-hydrogen.  If you want to know what the structure looks like, imagine a Mickey Mouse face of three round circles with the hydrogen atoms being the ears.

Opposites Attract

With a positive charge at the top (the ears) and a negative charge at the bottom (the face) of the molecule, the law of attraction is in full sway.  It is miraculous what the bonding of those three atoms produces.  There is no other substance on earth that in its natural state is liquid (water), solid (ice), and a gas

Water-the good the bad and the ugly

The State of Water in the World

Water Globe Drop    Clean water is headline news as of late.  When you look at the stories coming out of Ohio and their poisoned water supply, the West Virginia chemical spill, California drought and the banning of plastic water bottles in San Francisco, water is getting some big time press time.

Yet, what of the rest of the world?  What is the status of the water supply around the globe?  How are people affected by the lack of clean water or even the unavailability of water at all?

Let’s take a look.

According to data collected by the US Census Bureau, in 2012, the population of the United States was 313.9 million people.  In
