Is Buying a Water Ionizer Really Worth It?

There’s a whole lot of information out there about water ionizers and the incredible benefits that millions of people have enjoyed for years.  The medical establishment has weighed in time and time again with endorsements, and scientists are racing to make the next breakthrough when it comes to how ionized alkaline water can positively affect health.

Undecided?  We’ll try to help with that.
Undecided?  We’ll try to help with that.

But let’s be cynical for a moment.  Sure, all of that is true.  But still, is that reason enough to actually go ahead and buy an ionizer?  In other words, is buying a water ionizer really worth it?

What Are the Alternatives?

Well, first of all, let’s think about the alternatives.  America’s water supply and pipeline network is in the midst of a worsening crisis.  As more stories about how contaminated the country’s water really is hit the headlines, fewer and fewer people are able to turn on their taps with confidence.

“It is inexcusable that the government has done so little to protect us from this chemical that has been shown to cause cancer at even insanely low levels.”

 – Erin Brockovich

Have You Got the Bottle?

Bottled water is an alternative, but how about the cost?  We’re not just talking about to your pocket, but to the planet. America discards 35 billion plastic water bottles every year.  Those bottles take up to 1000 years to degrade.  Can that status quo really continue?  Well you know, sometimes you don’t need a weatherman to tell you when it’s raining.

What About Reverse Osmosis Water?

So what else is there?  Reverse osmosis water is sometimes touted as an alternative. But while it’s a fantastic short-term fix in war zones, populated areas of natural disaster or other situations where fresh, clean water isn’t available, it’s actively detrimental to your health if you drink it regularly.

Reverse osmosis water is stripped of any valuable minerals and becomes a scavenger, seeking out available minerals to stabilize itself.  If you drink it, then guess whose bones and teeth will be providing those minerals?  Not a nice thought.

So To Answer the Question…

But let’s go back to the original question.  Even if the most common alternatives aren’t exactly tempting, is buying a water ionizer worth it?

Only freshly ionized alkaline water delivers glass after glass of clean, hydrogen-rich, ultra-hydrating refreshment.  For what that means in terms of your health, doctors and medical practitioners aren’t holding back on what they think.

There are also the testimonials from people who have experienced positive changes in their health, well being or even athletic performance as a result of drinking ionized alkaline water.
