What is a Water Ionizer? What are the Benefits of Owning a Water Ionizer?

A water ionizer is a machine that ionizes water. Sounds simple enough, right? It truly is an amazing appliance! It produces ionized alkaline water and ionized acidic water through the process of electrolysis, which separates the oxygen and hydrogen of the water.

Why Does My UCE 9000T Water Ionizer Have 2 Spouts?

QUICK TIPS FOR THE UCE9000T

1. When operating the UCE, water comes out of both spouts. The top spout is the production water for Alkaline 1, 2 and 3 and Acidic 1, 2 and 3. The bottom spout is the drain water, or by-product water used to create the production waters.

2. When using the Turbo function, you get 2 waters for one button. Alkaline Turbo Water comes from the top long spout and Acid Turbo comes from the short bottom spout.

3. When using the H2O button, filtered water comes from BOTH spouts as this water is not ionized.

The idea of bottling alkaline water is great! Let’s face it; we have all been at an airport or on a trip where finding quality water is difficult. So, it’s no wonder that there are over a dozen or more bottled alkaline water companies on the market already. Some of their claims to fame are providing electrolytes and trace minerals in addition to alkalinity—again, these are all wonderful attributes to have available in a pinch.
