Fresh Alkaline Water vs. Bottled Alkaline Water

Fresh Alkaline Water vs. Bottled Alkaline Water

The idea of bottling alkaline water is great! Let’s face it; we have all been at an airport or on a trip where finding quality water is difficult. So, it’s no wonder that there are over a dozen or more bottled alkaline water companies on the market already. Some of their claims to fame are providing electrolytes and trace minerals in addition to alkalinity—again, these are all wonderful attributes to have available in a pinch.

However, buying bottled alkaline water on a daily basis when you can get your alkaline water fresh from a quality water ionizer is just plain silly. If the cost of owning an ionizer seems high, consider a payment plan because the cost of owning an ionizer is far less than the cost of even regular bottled water, let alone bottled alkaline water. Bottled alkaline water costs around $2 to $3 a bottle, so buying even one bottle every day at $2 a bottle means you spend $730 dollars in one year. That adds up to over $15,000 in 25 years! Besides its high cost, the bottled stuff fails to deliver in many other ways as well.

So just how does bottled alkaline water compare to water from a water ionizer?

There really is no comparison. Alkaline water’s health benefits begin to diminish rather quickly when stored in plastic bottles, and the chemical process used during the manufacturing stage makes antioxidant levels almost nonexistent.

What about all that plastic bottled water waste?

Obviously, bottled alkaline water is sold in plastic bottles. What’s not so obvious is that the chemicals from the plastic may leach into the water supply. Other factors to consider are the pollution and environmental damage caused by the production of the bottles. Then there is the trash problem. Plastic water bottles can take 700 years to decompose. In fact, there are 2 million tons of plastic water bottles in the oceans already!

Now, doesn’t it seem refreshingly convenient to produce your own unlimited supply of ionized alkaline water at home? When you own a water ionizer, you know you are drinking the freshest and best quality water available, and with Tyent, you know that you have the best filtration there is.

Plus, think of the bonus benefits that are not available when you buy bottled alkaline water. Not only can you use your water ionizer to produce water for drinking, but you can also use it to produce water for a number of other reasons:

  • cooking
  • cleaning
  • skin care
  • first aid

Remember, ionized water contains the greatest antioxidant levels and alkalinity straight from the machine.

The choice is clear. With ionized alkaline water from a water ionizer machine, you stay healthy, save money and save the earth!

Let us know if you’ve had the chance to try any bottled alkaline water and how you think it compares to regular water. We would love to hear from you!
