Hey everybody…it’s Fun Friday!
Here’s some good news. Friday is here and if you are reading this, you are too!
After five successful days, another work-week is in the books here at Tyent USA and it’s time for a little R & R.
With baseball in full swing, I thought I’d share one of my favorite baseball jokes.
Good News & Bad News
Phil and Bill were major league ball players on the same team. They were best friends, loved baseball, and had known each other since they were kids. They played baseball together in grade school, in high school, on the same team in college, and up through the ranks to the pros.
Realizing they were getting up there in years, they were sitting in the dugout one day when Phil turns to Bill and says “Bill, my old friend, let’s make a pact with each other right now that whichever one of us dies first, he is obligated to come back and let the other one know if there is baseball in Heaven.”
“That’s a great idea!” says Bill. They shake hands on it.
Well, ironically enough, Phil dies. Six months pass and Bill’s sitting in the dugout during a game one day when poof, Phil appears right next to him.
“Phil…you’re back!” Bill shouts enthusiastically.
“Yeah man, that was our deal wasn’t it, to let the other one know if there was baseball in Heaven?”
“Yeah it was…so what’s up?”
Phil says, “Well Bill, I’ve got some good news and some bad news.”
“Really?” “What’s the good news?” Bill asks.
“Well, the good news is that there is baseball in Heaven, and you would not believe the players we have!” “We’ve got Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Mickey Mantel…we’ve even got Honus Wagoner for goodness sakes!”
“Wow!” Bill gasps. “So what’s the bad news?”
“You’re pitchin’ Friday!”
Alrighty then, time to call it a week.
You know, our cousins across the Big Pond have a pretty good sense of humor and if you get a chance, check out this funny BBC animal video.
Have a great weekend everybody!
