ARE YOU TOO ACIDIC?

Acidosis is an increased acidity in the blood and other body tissue. Cells require a slightly alkaline environment to function properly. When your body is too acidic, the extra acid can build up in your circulatory and lymphatic systems. This extra acid can also eliminate itself through your skin, causing acne, eczema and irritation.

Are You Too Acidic?

The short answer is probably. Acidosis is a very common health problem in today’s society. One reason our bodies are too acidic is that we eat acidic food, like meat, processed foods and dairy, and we drink acidic beverages, such as coffee, soda, sugary drinks and alcohol.

Another reason we have become too acidic is simply due to our hectic lifestyles. Stress, sleep deprivation and lack of exercise all contribute to acidosis. Chronic metabolic acidosis sets the stage for numerous diseases and illnesses.

How to Combat Acidosis

Drinking ionized alkaline water is the easiest way to help neutralize the excess acid in your body. Ionized water contains more oxygen molecules than regular water. Tyent Water also has a smaller cluster size, which is easily absorbed by the cells of your body. Alkaline water has a higher pH than regular water, which helps regulate the acid/alkaline balance in your body.

Another way to become more alkaline is to follow an alkaline diet. An alkaline diet consists of lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay tuned for future blog posts on alkaline diet tips and recipes.

Do you suffer from any of the symptoms of acidosis? Has Tyent Water helped you become more alkaline? We would love to hear about it!
