Why Does My UCE 9000T Water Ionizer Have 2 Spouts?

Why Does My UCE 9000T  Water Ionizer Have 2 Spouts?

Why does my UCE 9000T water ionizer have 2 spouts?

 1. When operating the UCE, water comes out of both spouts.  The top spout is the production water for Alkaline 1, 2 and 3 and Acidic 1, 2 and 3. The bottom spout is the drain water, or by-product water used to create the production waters.

2. When using the Turbo function, you get 2 waters for one button.  Alkaline Turbo Water comes from the top long spout and Acid Turbo comes from the short bottom spout.

3. When using the H2O button, filtered water comes from BOTH spouts as this water is not ionized.

4. When testing the pH levels, be sure to allow the ionizer to run for at least 2 minutes to get an accurate sample.  If an adjustment is made to the level, allow the water to run again for 2 minutes before testing.

5. Refer to the Operators Manual for all instructions.  Click on the following link for a copy of the manual:  UCE 9000T Operators Manual

    1. Hi Molly,
Thanks for your comment on our water ionizer article. I’m so happy that you learned something and found the information helpful.

    1. Hi, Mae. Thanks for your question.

The Tyent Water Ionizer works like this: the water goes through an electrolysis chamber to separate the alkaline water from the acidic water (pulls them apart and creates two streams). Acidic pH water comes out of one side and alkaline comes out of the other side (through tubes).

When you press the button to choose the type of water that you want, the long tube on the top dispenses the water of your choice, and the smaller tube is the runoff. The runoff is the opposite of the water that you choose. Some people save the runoff. For example, if you choose alkaline water to drink, then the runoff would be acidic. Acidic water is good for your skin and hair and to water your plants. I also use it to clean, especially for containers that hold onto soapy or food smells when they come out of the dishwasher. You can always test the pH with the drops that were sent in the box to make sure the pH is right (in a little bag with a small pH chart).
