Why does my UCE 9000T water ionizer have 2 spouts?

QUICK TIPS FOR THE UCE9000T

 

 1. When operating the UCE, water comes out of both spouts.  The top spout is the production water for Alkaline 1, 2 and 3 and Acidic 1, 2 and 3. The bottom spout is the drain water, or by-product water used to create the production waters.

2. When using the Turbo function, you get 2 waters for one button.  Alkaline Turbo Water comes from the top long spout and Acid Turbo comes from the short bottom spout.

3. When using the H2O button, filtered water comes from BOTH spouts as this water is not ionized.
