Is Alkaline Water from a Water Ionizer Worth It? (Updated)

It seems the more questions answered about ionized alkaline water, the more questions asked. To begin with, several people wanted to know about the cost of drinking alkaline water, and if it was really worth it.  The answer to the latter part of that question is yes, it is absolutely worth it. Not only is water from a water ionizer far superior to tap and bottled drinking water on every level (including price at about 6¢ a glass!), but because of the incredible amount of pollution and litter bottled water generates.

The cost of drinking bottled water might be steeper than you realize.

The Eco-friendly Water Ionizer Solution

Let’s look at the cost in residue from drinking plastic bottled water that you buy in a store.  Only around 30% (some stats say 20%) of all plastic bottles are recycled, which translates to nearly 7-8 out of every 10 bottles purchased ends up in a landfill or in our various waterways such as lakes, streams, and the oceans.  In addition, Americans buy 1,500 plastic bottles every second.

Consider this scary statistic:  If a plastic bottle were thrown away the year William Shakespeare was born in 1564, it would just about now be decomposed.  That is because on average, it takes about 450 years for a plastic bottle to decompose fully.

Moreover, according to ecowatch.com, plastic accounts for nearly 90% of all trash floating on the ocean’s surface while additionally, approximately 1 million sea birds and 100,000 mammals are killed annually from plastic poison in the oceans.

These are horrifying statistics and don’t even include the number of fish killed every year.

Then there is the landfill to consider.  Fifty billion (that is 50,000 million) plastic bottles are dumped into landfills every year.  That is a staggering number in and of itself, but when you consider that the petrol-based chemicals that these bottles are made of are leaching into our ground water and polluting the Earth for hundreds of years, it is truly horrific.

Now let’s talk about the water itself.  As I have written many times, around 25% of all bottled water comes from a city or county municipality.  Meaning, it is city water that has been treated with chemicals to kill the chemicals already in it.  Other than the fact that it is water, there isn’t much that is beneficial about drinking it as compared to ionized alkaline water produced by a Tyent water ionizer

What Makes Water from a Tyent Water Ionizer So Much Better?

Great question, but where to begin?  Each time you enjoy a glass of water from a water ionizer the benefits are obvious.  Let’s start with pollution.

By installing a Tyent water ionizer in your home, or anywhere pure water is desired, you instantly reduce landfill and ocean pollution.  What is that peace of mind worth?

Then there is water quality.  The superior filtration system built into every Tyent machine is unmatched in its effectiveness to reduce and in some cases virtually eliminate the many contaminants known to exist in tap water.  The result is water that is clean, fresh and delicious.  Tyent Water is also replete with minerals and loaded with antioxidants that fight the formation of free radicals.

This is only a fraction of the many reasons that Tyent Water is superior to bottled water and well worth it, but I’m out of time for today.

  1. Hi I am curious about the three water tests that were shown in the video. You show the Tyent water test being done last with the most impressive results. Have you done the same test only doing the Tyent water second instead of last? The current test tells me the positive results could be because of the Tyent water or it could mean the test was more favorable because of being even more hydrated after having drunk the bottled water first and then drinking more water with the Tyent. If you can show the most favorable results after first drinking Tyent I would be more impressed. Thank you! Robert

    1. Thanks for you comment Robert. Actually, we redid the test without the person drinking the regular water first and the results were the same.
