Got Hard Water? Get What You Need for Your Water Ionizer

Two of the most influential words in the history of American advertising are “got milk?” Along with the milk mustache, the “got milk?” campaign ran for over two decades and is credited with generating a great increase in milk sales.

Although the campaign is dead, its legacy lingers on. But today, Tyent USA wants you to ask a slightly different question, “got hard water?”

The Hard Water Epidemic

Hard water is an excessively common problem in the United States. According to ExtoxNet, over 85% of the country is affected by hard water which is water that has a high mineral content. These minerals include magnesium and calcium from limestone deposits and drinking hard water over a long period of time can possibly lead to some health complications.

Although magnesium and calcium are both vital minerals to human health, over consumption of either may be unhealthy. In fact, according to the World Health Organization’s Guidelines for Drinking-water
Quality (2011):

“Increased intake of magnesium salts may cause a temporary adaptable change in bowel habits (diarrhea).

“Exposure to hard water has been suggested to be a risk factor that could exacerbate Eczema.”

“Some bottled mineral waters have exceptionally high mineral concentrations and appeal to some consumers, but would not be considered acceptable for most public drinking water supplies.”

In layman’s terms, based on these WHO findings, hard water can be considered unhealthy for the digestive system, skin, and the palate of most people.

How to Deal With Hard Water

Clean. Crisp. Refreshing. Healthy. Alkaline Water.
Clean. Crisp. Refreshing. Healthy. Alkaline Water.

Luckily, Tyent USA has customizable pre-filter systems for all water ionizers that can remove the excess mineral content from hard water while creating delicious, antioxidant-rich alkaline water. Our water ionizer techs can look up any zip code and read the hardness of the public water supply and then prescribe an appropriate water ionizer system.

Usually, a hard water-specific pre-filter and cleaning cartridge (for when pH levels drop) are needed to make hard water perfectly ionized and filtered water.

If you have any questions or concerns about your public water supply, you can call Jim, our lead tech for full details. The phone number is ext. 513.

Got hard water? Then you better get a Tyent water ionizer.
