But here’s the thing: protein shakes aren’t only for people serious about sports – they're just as good for anyone who wants to eat healthily on the go or loves great-tasting shakes that aren’t synthetic and packed with sugar and artificial ingredients!
Without further ado, check out our super-easy recipes! We’re keeping things natural with at least two protein sources in each recipe and leaving our Alkaline Protein Shakes powder-free, but do feel free to add a scoop or two of your favorite type of protein powder if you prefer!
The method for each is the same: simply throw all the ingredients into your blender and whizz until smooth enough to pour into a glass and enjoy!
Creamy Breakfast Alkaline Protein Shake
1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk
1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt (use vegan if preferred)
4 Brazil nuts
1 1/2 frozen bananas
Medium pinch of ground cinnamon
Ice-cold Tyent alkaline water (add as much/little as preferred to required thickness)
Chocolate Treat Alkaline Protein Shake
1 ½ tablespoon natural nut butter (peanut or cashew are good)
½ cup Tyent alkaline water
½ cup sweetened or unsweetened vanilla soymilk
1 cup frozen banana
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon cocoa powder (more if you want it more chocolatey!)
Mango and Vanilla Alkaline Protein Shake
1 cup frozen ripe mango
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste
½ cup cooked quinoa
½ cup unsweetened oat milk or nut milk
½ cup Tyent alkaline water
1 tbsp almond or peanut butter
1 tsp cocoa powder (optional)
Green Hemp Heart Alkaline Protein Shake
½ cup Tyent alkaline water
½ cup baby leaf spinach
½ ripe avocado
1 tablespoon cashew butter (other nut butters will work too)
1 ½ tablespoon hemp hearts
1 tablespoon agave nectar (or to taste)
½ cup coconut milk
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
